Wolfram Programming Lab and Mathematica Aug 8 - 14, 2019
Introductory course to be offered at the HU Beltsville campus Aug 8 - 14. We will make use of both the Wolfram Programming Lab and Wolfram Mathematica. These require separate installations, the instructions for which can be found here. Classes will run from 10:00am - noon each day.
Aug 8-9, 2019: Topics from Wolfram Programming Lab will be used to introduce programming concepts and the wide range of problems that can be tackled computationally.
Aug 12-14,2019: Topics Using Mathematica with emphasis on data import and manipulation, simple analysis techniques (linear regression, interpolation, etc.), graphical display of data and data export. A brief introduction will also be given to some of the unique features of Mathematica including interactive presentation tools, computable data, web integration, symbolic manipulation.
