Logistics for the Planetary Boundary Layer Workshop
- Being run now as a virtual workshop, the time each day is shifted to accommodate all three time zones of the US. Thus, the workshop will run from 1200 - 2000 EDT each day.
- We will use Microsoft Teams to host the various lessons.
- A few things to note about Teams realizing that Teams is a large integrated package so upgrades to the video capabilities is more complicated than for a dedicated product like Zoom or Google Meets...
- There is a web version and a download version. The download version is preferred as it can handle up to 4 video streams (subject to bandwidth limitations) instead of 1.
- There is an update that has been long promised by MS that will allow up to 9 simultaneous video streams.

- When you are sharing your screen, you cannot see the participant list. If you have a large screen or second monitor you can use a web browser to connect to your meeting and then you will be able to see the participant list.
