Mathematica at HU
Howard University has a comprehensive license for the Mathematica computing environment. Below are instructions for how to access the various products that are covered by the license. Instructions differ for students and staff and who owns the computer to be used.
1) Create an account (faculty, staff, or students)
(a) If you haven't already, or if you are a completely new user, go
to http://user.wolfram.com and click "Create Account."
(b) Fill out form using a @howard.edu email, and click "Create
Wolfram ID."
(c) Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID.
2) Request the download and key (Howard-owned machines):
(a) Fill out this form to request an Activation Key

(b) Click the "Product Summary page" link to access your license.
(c) Click "Get Downloads" and select "Download" next to your platform.
(d) Run the installer on your machine, and enter Activation Key at
prompt.
3) Request the download and key (students' personally-owned machines):
(a) Fill out this form to request an Activation Key

(b) Click the "Product Summary page" link to access your license.
(c) Click "Get Downloads" and select "Download" next to your platform.
(d) Run the installer on your machine, and enter Activation Key at
prompt.
3a) Request a home use license for faculty personally owned machines

4) Request Mathematica Online access (everyone)
(a) Complete this form:

(b) Check email to validate.
(c) Log-in at http://mathematica.wolframcloud.com with your WolframID.
5) Request Wolfram|Alpha Pro access (everyone)
(a) Complete this form:

(b) Check email to validate.
(c) Log-in at http://www.wolframalpha.com with your WolframID (upper
right-hand corner).
5) Request Wolfram Programming Lab access (everyone)
(a) Complete this form:

(b) Check email to validate.
(c) Log-in at http://lab.wolframcloud.com with your WolframID.
6) For WebMathematica
You'll go to this link:
http://www.wolfram.com/products/webmathematica/versions/request.cgi
You'll need to enter the Howard University site license number when prompted.
