Day 2: Training for Experiment
After our day of sightseeing, on our second day we met up in the classroom for our first training session. We discussed different approaches to doing linear regressions when the two variables to be compared were not collected on the same time interval. After our class, we were able to visit the Witches' Market, a famous street full of tiny shops selling everything from souvenirs to llama fetuses used for offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth).
We discussed different ways to perform a regression on a dataset of black carbon and pm2.5 time serieses. Generally the two are positively correlated.
