ATMS 301 - Seminar Series Fall, 2019 at Howard University Beltsville Campus
In the Fall, 2019 a monthly seminar series will be hosted at HUBC. The seminars will feature various topics in the Atmospheric Sciences. The series can be taken as a 1-credit course by attending the Friday seminars and completing the other course requirements. The tentative outline of the seminar series and expectations in the course are listed below. In general, readings will be assigned that are pertinent to the topic of the upcoming seminar. These readings will be discussed prior to each seminar. Following the seminar, students will submit 1-page summaries of the seminar. These summaries will be graded. There will be 2 classes at the Beltsville campus per month. Those are shown in bold below and attendance is expected at all of these classes. A pizza lunch @ noon will precede the 1:00 seminars.
